Litchfield Park grew out of the farm settlement the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company founded in 1916 to grow cotton, and it's named for company executive Paul W. Litchfield. More than a century later, it's a close-knit community surrounded by some of the fastest growth in Arizona.
